Mahesh Babu (Telugu: మహేష్ బాబు) born Mahesh Babu Ghattamaneni on 9 August 1975 is an Indian film actor from Telugu Cinema. Born to Telugu superstar Krishna, Mahesh Babu faced the camera at the age of four as a child artiste in the movie Needa. After 20 years, Mahesh Babu starred in Rajakumarudu as the lead hero and became an overnight success in the Telugu film industry.
He later appeared in blockbuster movies like Murari (2001), Okkadu (2003), Athadu (2005), Pokiri (2006) and Dookudu (2011).These accomplishments have established him as one of the contemporary lead actors of Telugu Cinema.] Mahesh Babu also bagged 12th place in Times 50 Most Desirable Men for the year 2010.He is the Brand Ambassador for Thums Up, Navratna Oil,Univercell, Amrutanjan, Provogue, Idea, Vivel and Jos Alukkas in Andhra Pradesh.
